About Nuweiba & beaches
Nuweiba is both a small town with a port and a catch-all name for the surrounding stretches of coast that have no separate name of their own. It is the middle of the gulf coast, roughly halfway between Taba and Dahab.
Accommodation is mixed: beach camps alongside older hotels in the town itself. It makes a convenient base for trips into the wadis and to the hot springs.
Getting to Nuweiba & beaches
About an hour from the Taba crossing, and the natural stop on the way to Dahab.
The town has cash machines, pharmacies and supermarkets, which the smaller strips to the north and south do not.
